Kerry Washington has been seen throwing caution into the wind and daring all consequences in her recent red carpet ensembles. She recently wore a custom Prada high-waisted skirt and an open back crop top. Since her pregnancy rumour started, she has been seen wearing styles that flow or cover her waistline, mostly all none fitted clothes and she continues to glow in everything she seems to throw on her petite body shape. Her personal style lies in “a way to define who I am out in the world versus the character I am playing,” she said in a recent interview with Lucky Magazine.
Her first style rule is “I look for that things that fit,” she told E! News on the carpet last night at the SAG Awards. And on her recent style changes in the maternity wardrobe she says “I mean it’s the same for me I just have to feel good in it and like it myself so that I feel comfortable all night,” she admits she’s wearing whatever works
Her second style rule is to flaunt her baby bump in a subtle, yet stylish fashion. She was seen wearing a white dress with pretty black embroidery that loosely hugged her pregnant belly which she paired with matching pointed toe-pumps. She completed her chic look by adding a pop of color with a hot pink clutch and a large pink choker necklace, proudly clutching her growing bump as she posed for pics.
